Mark Alipio, a dedicated advocate for Quality Care and enhanced services home and community-based services in California, that offers a distinct perspective as an immigrant and first-generation residential care provider. Through his family-run facilities, Mark has gained in-depth knowledge of quality services for adults with disabilities, the elderly, and caregivers’ challenges. As a Direct Support Professional and Residential Care Administrator, he has acquired insights into the challenges faced by individuals with complex medical conditions.

Mark specializes in grant and business consulting in health and enhanced behavioral support for those with mild to severe needs. He serves on the Ca DDS HCBS Advisory Board Committee, a Ca DSS RCFE and ARF PROVIDER STAKEHOLDERS, a Board Member of the Long Beach Homeless Coalition. These roles combine his community care expertise with his passion for innovative solutions and affordable housing advocacy.

A certified Crisis Prevention and NonViolent Intervention™ Instructor, Mark teaches de-escalation techniques and severe behavior management strategies. He is also a certified American Heart Association Heartsaver™ (FIRST AID, CPR & AED) instructor for frontline workers and Basic Life Support for Licensed Medical Professionals.

Since January 2022, Mark has been a member of the CDSS Adult and Senior Care Program (RCFE) Provider Stakeholder Advisory Group. As president of the Ca Care Association, he is committed to developing and preserving self-determined, person-centered programs and working care models that enhance the safety and well-being of California’s most vulnerable residents in senior and adult communities.

Aimee Bondoc is a passionate small business owner who has devoted her life to the world of cycling. Her journey in the cycling industry began 18 years ago when she landed a job at a BMX manufacturing company. Her hard work and dedication in the company allowed her to gain invaluable knowledge and expertise in the industry.

Her passion for cycling and desire to create a business that serves the cycling community led her and her husband, who has been a bike mechanic for over 20 years, to open Vince’s Cyclery in 2020. Despite opening in the midst of a global pandemic, Aimee’s determination and love for cycling led her to overcome challenges and establish Vince’s Cyclery as a go-to destination for cyclists of all levels.

Vince’s Cyclery offers a wide range of high-quality bikes, accessories, and services, making it the perfect place for cyclists to meet all of their cycling needs. The shop is well-known for its exceptional customer service, knowledgeable staff, and commitment to quality. Aimee’s business acumen and love for cycling have been critical to the success of the shop.

In addition to running her business, Aimee is an active member of the cycling community, regularly participating in group rides and charity events. Her dedication to the sport and the community has earned her the respect and admiration of many.
